Remove black scuff marks from Corningware with one product

Sharing is caring!

Finding efficient solutions to household chores is the reason why many people scroll to Clean Tok or the cleaning side of social media.  We want quick easy show me how to do it in the least amount of steps.

I knew I entered my “Señora” phase which means to be an older woman when things like dishes and cast iron pans are things I get excited about and look forward to shopping for.

But one frustration I had was when black scuff marks were showing up on my pristine surface of Corningware bakeware.  I have the all-white version and love those dishes. They are like ninjas in the kitchen and can do anything.  Even withstand my kids.

Since I have simplified my cleaning products I am huge on trying to use what I have instead of having to go out and get a new product for one job.

How to remove the stubborn black/grey marks of your Corningware

You will only need two items to get the job done a Scrub Daddy Sponge and a container of The Pink Stuff.

All you need to do is get your scrub daddy wet with lukewarm water not hot because it will make the sponge too soft.  You want it to stay a bit hard to be able to scrub.

While applying a little pressure you just scrub away all the marks.  It doesn’t scratch and it leaves your white Corningware like new.

What causes the marks

The marks are just caused by metal silverware scrapping the dishes.

Other ways to clean your Corningware

The Pink stuff will also clean off baked-on grease especially those corners and the handles that then to get it the worst.

Make a paste of baking soda and water

I did try a magic eraser but not with much luck.
